Townhall Breakfast @ Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church

Jackson County Legislators are hosting a free townhall breakfast from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 2310 E. Linwood Blvd., to discuss ways to improve public safety throughout the county.

Speakers include Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forte, Deputy Prosecutor Dion Sankar, COMBAT Director Vince Ortega, Presiding 16th Circuit Judge Jalilah Otto and Kansas City Police Department Community Engagement Division Commander Kari Thompson.

The meeting is hosted by legislators Manuel Abarca, Venessa Huskey, DaRon McGee and Donna Peyton.

Registration is required, and persons should RSVP online to Kimberly Randolph at KMRandolph@jacksongov.org.
