Veterans Living History series

Hope you had a great Winter Break!  But it’s time to get going again on the Veterans Living History series.  Mark the date down.   APRIL 18th, Thurs. night, 7 pm, Trailside Center, 99^th and Holmes, KCMO.  Here’s the program.

 

Steven Woelk was aboard the USS Pueblo and became a Prisoner of War.  The Pueblo you might recall was captured by the North Koreans.  The North Koreans are still in possession of the ship and have made it into a museum.  

Also, we’d like to honor Gary Swanson for his years of coordinating speakers for the Living History Series.  Would you consider bringing a card???  Gary will be providing a little fun mini-presentation as well.   

 

The following month we’ll be featuring a 98 year old P51 Ace.  So we’re starting off with some great speakers.  Hope to see you APRIL 18th.  This will be a relevant program and I urge you to put APRIL 18th on your calendar.  Delicious cookies and lemonade as usual.  Hope to see you there.
