The City of Kansas City hopes to appeal to city residents for a number of open positions, available on a fast-tracked hiring time frame. Various city departments will be present at a hiring fair on Saturday, July 19 at the Kansas City Convention Center Grand Ballroom, located at 16th and Wyandotte, from 9 am to 1 pm.
Department leaders will answer questions and conduct on-site interviews for a number of public service career positions, including Bus Operator, Maintenance Worker, Public Health Specialist and Engineering Technician. A full list of positions, along with descriptions and applications, are listed online.
The city recommends interested residents submit applications by July 11 for priority consideration.
Conditional job offers will be made at the event. City positions are eligible for benefits including medical and dental, paid holidays, vacation/sick time and a pension plan. Learn more at kcmo.gov/jobs
