Last weekend, over 130 Baskets for Christmas were given away to families in need at Elks Lodge #26 located off 99th and Holmes Rd.

On Friday, December 14, St. Joseph Medical Center will have an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony from 2 to 5 pm for its new $1.6 million 23-bed Senior Behavioral Health Center. The public is invited.

A live drive through nativity will be offered Saturday, December 8, from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at First Baptist Church, Wornall and Red Bridge Rds.

Crows Coffee is throwing a Holiday Happy Hour at the Red Bridge location on Friday, December 7, from 4 to 6 pm featuring live music and beer and wine specials. 

Formerly Le Salon, KC Looks Salon & Spa will celebrate its new location on Friday, December 7.

Business has increased significantly since the Red Bridge site opened two years ago because similar drop-off centers have been closing all over the metro area. The center that Fish manages is one of only three KCMO centers that remain.
