Area animal shelters are participating in a KC Mega Match Pet Adoption event Friday, October 11, through Sunday, October 13, with all pet adoptions only $25.
South Kansas City area shelters participating in the annual event include Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd., and KC Pet Project, 7077 Elmwood.
All adoptable pets will have undergone spay/neuter surgery, are microchipped for identification and are up to date on their vaccinations.
Persons may go online to www.kcmegamatch.org to see all adoptable pets and the shelters’ hours of operation during the event.
