July Christmas
Urban Community Connections and partner agencies will host their annual Christmas in July community giveaway including books, toys and gift cards for children and youth 17 and under from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at the South Patrol Police Campus, 9701 Marion Park Dr.
Infants, children and youth will also receive diapers and other basic care items, learning & activity kits and oral care products, and they must be in attendance with a parent or guardian to receive the gifts.
Other items that will be given away at the walk-through event to families attending include household cleaning & sanitizing supplies, personal hygiene items, laundry detergent and other household essentials. Free gun locks and gun safety information will be provided by Grandparents Against Gun Violence.
A free photo booth will be available on site for families, and sack lunches will be provided for all participants.
