Brady Crawford has opened a new State Farm Insurance office in Martin City at 13406 Holmes Rd. for home and rental, auto and life insurance. The new office is affiliated with the agency’s main office at 8900 Wornall Rd. in Waldo.

Crawford purchased the building from Jack Fiorella in Martin City and did extensive renovations to the interior, creating a more open space that will provide greater flexibility than the previous layout. The 816 square-foot building had been split in two, home to two different contractors. Crawford removed the middle wall, repainted the remaining walls gray, replaced carpet, windows and doors and changed front yard landscaping.

The new office will house five of the agency’s 15 employees who relocated from the former office at 10901 Hickman Mills Dr.

Crawford has been with State Farm for more than 12 years and his agency is in its 10th year of business. He is excited about the new location and the opportunities there in the future. “We knew Martin City had a great community and we were immediately drawn to that when thinking of where we’d like to grow our second location,” he explained. “The support for small businesses is strong and we’re excited to see how the city will continue to develop in years to come.”
