There were 22 guitarists who signed up for the free jazz guitar clinic conducted by world- renown jazz guitarist Adam Levy at the Art House 808 in Grandview on June 28.
The Grammy-winning guitarist and songwriter has worked with Norah Jones, Tracy Chapman, Ani DiFranco, Rosanne Cash and more. The sold-out event was sponsored by JHS Pedals.
Art House 808 opened in February 2025 in downtown Grandview to bring together artists of all styles and backgrounds for community and inspiration.
The evening of July 10 is a quote-along showing of the movie Hook, followed by a Family Magic Show on the 17th. Both events are free.
July 24 is opening night of the Local Artists Gallery featuring local visual creators showcasing their work. The gallery runs through July 27.
