On Friday, October 10, the American Legion Post #488 will host a tribute to veterans along with a flag retirement ceremony conducted by Boy Scout Troop 111 at Smoot Peace Park, located at Chestnut and 2nd St. in Belton.
The event starts at 6 pm.
All veterans and members of the community are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
