Celebrating Urban Birds @ Lakeside Nature Center

Nature lovers and families are invited to explore the fascinating world of urban birds through a free educational program highlighting 15 bird species identified by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about and take part in the Cornell Lab’s citizen science bird survey efforts.

The celebration includes live raptor presentations, hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and interactive learning opportunities for children. Extension Master Gardeners will teach kids about bird diets and help them create seed balls to take home and enjoy in their own backyards.
