Duck Derby at The Bay @ The Bay Water Park

Get ready for a splashing good time at the Duck Derby at Bay Water Park in Kansas City, MO! Join friends, families, and neighbors for a fun-filled day packed with excitement, laughter, and community fun at one of Kansas City’s favorite water parks. Bring your family, invite your friends, or participate from afar and don’t miss this quack-tastic day!
Event Schedule:
Noon: Water park opens
3 p.m.: Activities & Resource fair begin
5:30 p.m.: Rubber Duck Derby starts
6 p.m.: Festivities end & Raffle prizes passed out
8 p.m.: Water park closes

Cheer on your ducks as they bob, bump, and race their way to the finish line for a chance to win great prizes. The Duck Derby is fun for all ages, and you do not have to be present to win the race — your ducks will race whether you’re there or not! Each purchased duck will receive a ticket for the raffle prizes. To enter your raffle tickets, you will need to be present to enter and win.

Each duck pack purchased receives one daily admission pass and one raffle ticket per duck purchased. Valid only the day of the duck race, Friday, July 17, 2026. Duck packs are registered to one person, cannot be combined with other individuals. Purchase duck packs in person or online.

Proper swim attire must be worn, and all swimmers under 16 must be accompanied by a paid adult. You won’t want to miss it!
