Kansas City AARP presents free shredding event
8 am to noon

Parking lot A of Starlight Theatre in Swope Park
(East Meyer Boulevard and Swope Parkway intersection)
What to Shred:
Old documents: Papers that carry your Social Security number, birth date, signature, account numbers, passwords or PINs.
Banking: Canceled or unused checks. Deposit slips and ATM and credit card receipts, monthly statements.
Credit Cards: Preapproved credit card applications and incentive/gift checks from credit card companies.
Medical: unneeded medical bills, statements and receipts.
Investments: Investment account statements.
Expired cards: Expired driver’s licenses and other forms of ID, medical insurance cards, credit cards and passports.
Limit is three medium size boxes or kitchen size trash bags. We will not be shredding cardboard or electronics. All shredding is done on-site. Stay in your car and our shred professionals will unload for you.
