Raymore Chili Cook-Off @ T.B. Hanna Station

The Raymore Arts Commission hosts the Raymore Chili Cook-Off, a Chili Appreciation Society International (CASI) sanctioned event at T.B. Hanna Station in Raymore. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser go to the Raymore Community Foundation, the City’s 501(c)3, to support the arts in Raymore. Categories and turn-in times: Salsa ($10 entry fee) turned in at 11 a.m.; CASI chili ($20 entry fee), traditional with no beans or fillers, just meat, spices, and sauce (must be cooked on site) turned in at 12 p.m.; Homestyle Chili ($20 entry fee), anything goes, judged by the people so bring friends for votes; Youth Cookies (no entry fee, new in 2026, for children ages 15 and younger) turned in at 12:30 p.m., awards given to top 3 scorers, bake cookies at home; Jackpot Beans ($10 entry fee) turned in at 1 p.m., win cash with all entry fees distributed to the top three winners (50%/30%/20%); and Wings ($10 entry fee) turned in at 2 p.m. Awards announced 2:30-3 p.m. Cooks must sign up to enter at least one chili (CASI or Homestyle). Salsa, Wings, and Jackpot Beans categories are optional. The Youth Cookie category does not require an adult to enter chili. Registration remains open until the day of the event, though early registration is encouraged.
