We’ve all heard of running in circles. But have you heard of running under a triangle?
On April 29, at 9 a.m,, runners and walkers participating in the Triangle 5K will travel along a course under the famous Grandview Triangle, beginning at 9701 Marion Park Dr (the South Patrol Police Headquarters). The course goes under I-435 before turning around and traveling over 71 Hwy and back. At no time does the course enter the actual highways.
Each male and female winner and a random winner will receive an outdoor gas grill courtesy Home Depot.
The entry fee is $20. The event opens at 7 a.m.
Proceeds benefit the youth of south Kansas City through the Hickman Mills C-! School District, the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Youth Advocacy Program and LINC Program.
