The Pablo Sanhueza Trio will perform an Outdoor Patio Concert on Sunday, July 28, at 7 pm at the historic First Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO at 100 West Red Bridge Road and Wornall Road.
The church is collecting school supplies and backpacks for over 500 K-12 grade children. They are most in need of new backpacks, expcially for high school age boys.
Many Red Bridge residents were surprised to see action at the future site of Wonderscope Children’s Museum in south Kansas City. It’s been over a year since the groundbreaking, but construction is just getting started.
The designation will result in official Park Service signage at the site, recognition of the cemetery on the Park Service website which should boost tourism to the area and expert assistance in managing the historic site.
