Food Distribution

The Community Assistance Council, 10901 Blue Ridge Blvd. on the north end of the Ruskin High School campus, has expanded the hours when persons in need can make appointments to drive up and have boxes of healthy food items (as well as hygiene items, diapers and pullups) brought out to their vehicles.
Such service is now available by appointment from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and after hours appointments are available this month from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 27.
Persons should call 816-763-3277, ext. 100, for appointments.
