Blue River Discovery Days – an interactive annual awareness and fundraising campaign organized by the Heartland Conservation Alliance – is here and happening now! We invite you to celebrate Kansas City’s Blue River, the largest watershed in the city, through our month-long series of engaging activities culminating in a fantastic festival on October 12th.

What to Expect at the Festival: On Saturday, October 12th, 2024, from 9 AM to 3 PM, join us at Minor Park (picnic area near the tennis courts and the Blue River Parkway Trailhead) for a free, family-friendly festival. This event offers a wonderful opportunity to appreciate and learn about the Blue River through interactive nature-based activities, including:
