AGENDA:

1. An Officer from South Patrol will provide the crime report for the month.

2. Steve Bell, resident of 1314 W. Red Bridge Road is requesting a change in zoning to accommodate his plans to use his property for weddings on weekends. The zoning will go from 7.5 to 8.0 with a special use permit needed.  The case will be heard by the City Plan Commission on April 4th.

3. Kate Barsotti, a resident of the Columbus Park area (near downtown and historic northeast) and 4th District Representative on the Kansas City Neighborhood Advisory Council (KCNAC), will provide an Update on the Short-Term Rental situation in Kansas City (Two tax issues are on the April 4th ballot).

4. Darren Faulkner, Program Manager for KCCommonGood will inform us about the mission of his organization which is to prevent the root causes of violence.  In addition, the organization will initiate planning for KC360 which will be similar to the one in Omaha that has reduced violence and crime in Omaha.  He has visited Omaha to learn about their program. KCCommonGood seeks to partner with organizations, businesses and individuals to address violence in our City.
