“With a mission of “Empowering individuals and families to self-sufficiency through the delivery of direct emergency assistance, education and advocacy since 1976,” CAC provides more than a dozen services, including a food pantry, clothing closet and emergency rent and utilities assistance to low-income residents of south Kansas City.”
