Indian Creek Cleanup

Anyone wishing to help members of the Blue River Watershed Association and its partner
organizations clean up along Indian Creek is invited to meet at 8 a.m. Saturday, September 22, in the Watts Mill Shopping Center parking lot in front of Jasper’s Italian Restaurant, 1201 W. 103rd St., adjacent to Watts Mill Park.
The cleanup will run from 8 to 1 p.m. and will include picking up litter, planting a rain garden and removing invasive honeysuckle. There also will be bicycle safety and maintenance workshops.
After the cleanup, participants are invited to bike or drive to Alex George Lake about five miles away for a free picnic.
