Smokin ‘n Waldo @ St. Elizabeth’s

St. Elizabeth’s Parish celebrates its 14th annual barbecue contest. This year over 40 contestants from the parish are expected to compete. Live music, public tastings for best snack food competition, tent parties, beverages are planned for an adult-only Friday 6 pm to midnight. On Saturday starting at 11 am, kids activities such as face painting, music, Kona Ice and photo booth factor in. Winners announced at 6 pm. Free. St. Elizabeth Church parking lot, 2 E 75 St.
