Wild Edibles: Forest Forage Fest @ Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center
October 3 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
Registration required (all ages). No better time than early October to hunt for and harvest the bounty of a Missouri forest. Persimmons, pawpaws, nuts, and berries abound if you know where to look and how to identify these wild delectables. After a short hike out back along the trail to collect, gather around the big harvest table to share and sample what the forest has to offer. Three sessions available: 10:00-11:00 AM, 11:30 AM-12:30 PM, and 1:30-2:30 PM.
