Cass Community Health Foundation has awarded $55,000 in scholarships to students from Grandview and the Cass County area pursuing careers in health care.
Mayra Del Moral graduated from Grandview High School in May and was awarded the George M. & Elizabeth V. Robinson Scholarship. Moral will attend the University of Missouri-Columbia to pursue a degree in nursing or allied health.
Students from Grandview or Cass County schools who are studying nursing are eligible for funding each year of their education.
“Health care scholarships are not just investments in individuals; they are investments in the future of health care itself,” Cynthia Randazzo, Cass Community Health Foundation president and CEO, said.
Scholarship recipients from Belton High School include Barbara Garner, Piper Keltner, Yaresci Rodriguez, and Ava Spiller. Scholarship recipients from Raymore-Peculiar High School include Jana Bruce, Cali Cooper, Meagan Faulkner, Kendall Johnson, Madeline Kobe, Deja Lindly, Makayla Lint, Sloan Myers, Olivia Nelson, Bryanna Planker, Irelynn Sloan, Kylin Sousley, and Maddison Taylor.
