Comedian Jim Belushi will be the guest of honor at the grand opening celebration of CODES KC, a new dispensary located at 668 E Red Bridge Rd, on Saturday, January 18.
In addition to acting and comedy roles, Belushi owns a cannabis farm in southern Oregon (popular strains include “The Blues Brothers”). A reality show on the Discovery channel chronicled his efforts over two seasons.
A meet and greet with Belushi is from 10 am to noon.
CODES KC opened its doors on December 5, 2024. It is the first CODES dispensary in the KC metro area.
The grand opening event runs from 9 am to 3 pm and includes special products, local food trucks, live music and promotional giveaways.
