According to the City of Kansas City, this project phase was held up for one month when workers located undocumented utility lines which had to be relocated. Work on this phase of 75th Street is expected to be completed this year.
The project will continue with construction on Wornall Road between 75th and 79th Streets beginning in early 2025. The intersection construction is expected to be complete in Fall 2025.
Nearby Broadway Street will remain closed until 2026 for construction the construction of the 300-unit Waldo74Broadway apartment complex planned at 74th Terrace.
