Some nights are a perfect opportunity to drive through an area and enjoy the outdoor Christmas displays. December 10th is one of those nights.
The First Baptist Church of Kansas City, located at the northwest corner of Wornall and Red Bridge Road, will host its annual Living Nativity Drive-Thru on Sunday evening from 6 to 7 pm. Children and members of the church will re-enact various scenes from the Biblical Christmas story at different locations along the grounds, ending with the birth of Jesus. Live animals join the show.
Visitors view the event as they travel in their car along the scenic path. A CD or thumb drive with music and narration is provided for each carload. Children will receive a free gift–a small crocheted creche.
The event is free and open to the public.
