Fall means a corn maze, flower field, playground area and pumpkin patch at Everly Turf Farm, owned by Vernon Everly and maintained by his granddaughter Meghan and her husband Michael, with young children Tate and Ella.
The family farm is open daily from sunup to sundown for old-fashioned outdoor family fun. Entry is $5 for adults and free for ages 15 and under. A flower bouquet stand sells stems for $.50 each and $5 a vase or bring your own to fill.
“It’s kind of like a self-serve stand based on the honor system,” said Meghan, “but a lot of times we are out and about on the farm, so we go say hi if we see people out.”
The farm is located at 25808 S. State Route C, Peculiar.
