Kansas City Fire Department companies were dispatched to a reported fire in the 8400 block of East 111th Street at 12:26 p.m. On arrival, crews reported smoke and fire showing from a 1-story house. An offensive fire attack was initiated and two hose lines were advanced into the structure.
Searches throughout the structure were performed and reported all clear. The fire was brought under control at 12:37 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD.
No injuries have been reported from this incident.
Dangerous Buildings and City Planning have been requested to the scene.
