KC Fire Department companies were dispatched to a reported fire in the 7300 block of Walrond Ave at 8:30 p.m. On arrival, crews reported smoke showing from a 1-story house. An offensive fire attack was initiated to extinguish the fire.
Searches throughout the structure were performed and reported all clear. The fire was brought under control at 8:36 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD.
