Andre Davis, a 1985 graduate of Grandview High School, Annette Turnbaugh, a 1976 graduate, and Ryan Hobbs, a 2000 graduate, received Jane Bryan Distinguished Alumni Awards
from the Grandview Education Foundation at a brunch April 9 at the Armacost Car Museum.
Davis is a local community engagement executive with Built Interior Construction. He also volunteers with numerous area service organizations, including Big Brother and Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, The Urban Ranger Corp, and UMKC’s Marketing Advisory Council.
Turnbaugh is a Missouri State Representative and former Grandview Alderwoman who is active in many civic affairs.
Hobbs is an active community volunteer and an assistant professor at Penn State College of Medicine where a research lab has been named for him.
