All lanes of traffic on Raytown Road between Harry Truman Drive and Highgrove in Grandview are closed.
Grandview is currently working on new twin bridges on Raytown Road just south of Harry Truman Drive. In late May, Crews began work on the bridge for the northbound lanes and moved all traffic to the southbound lanes. However, the overnight storms washed out the southbound lanes causing some sinking and other issues making them unsafe for drivers.
Public Works is currently evaluating the situation and will have an update toward the end of the week on if the southbound lanes will be able to reopen and when.
