The City of Grandview will break ground on the expansion of Blue Ridge Boulevard on Monday, August 4 at 9:30 am.
The multi-million dollar project is the largest infrastructure improvement in city history, affecting nearly five miles of the boulevard from 71 Highway on the east to Prospect Ave on the west. Plans call for installation of sidewalks and ADA compliant intersections, more lanes for traffic and a new Kansas City Southern Railroad bridge.
The groundbreaking event takes place at 213 Blue Ridge Blvd in Grandview.
