Friends and family of Jason French are asking for your help in finding the 45–year-old man who went missing in the early hours of Wednesday morning, May 5, from his Overland Park home. His car, a 2009 silver Toyota Yaris, was found Thursday at the Blue River Park just east of Holmes and Blue Ridge Blvd near the railroad tracks. His wallet and phone were still at his home.
French is 5’10” tall, weighs 145 to 150 lbs, and has balding strawberry blond hair. It is unknown what he may have been wearing, according to his longterm partner Melissa Brown.
Brown conducted a search on Friday with friends and family within the park area, including the former homeless camp deep in the woods, which she reported was still abandoned.
Police have conducted a helicopter and drone search to no avail. A community search party led by police and search dogs will commence Monday.
If you have seen Jason or have any information, please contact 913-634-5009.
