Sunday evening just after 11pm officers were called to 113th and Askew on a shooting call.
When officers arrived they located a shooting victim in front of a residence there unresponsive (preliminarily appears to be an adult male).
Officers summoned in EMS who declared the victim deceased at the scene. Witnesses at the scene indicated that a disturbance occurred between the victim and one or more suspects that led to the victim being shot.
The victim has been identified as Devin Jacobs B/M 09-27-2003
Detectives and crime scene personnel are canvassing for witnesses and processing the scene for evidence.
If anyone saw anything or has any information they are asked to contact the homicide unit directly at 234-5043 or the TIPS hotline anonymously at 474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
