Hickman Mills C-1 School District Superintendent Yaw Obeng has a new book about making good decisions, “Calculated Risk,” and will celebrate at an event from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at the Art House 808, 808 Main St., in Grandview.
Admission is $30 and includes refreshments and autographed copies of the book which features leadership lessons and stories from Obeng’s career.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the “Above and Beyond” Student Awards within the Hickman Mills district.
