Kansas City Fire crews responded to a reported house fire in the 9100 block of Indiana at 12:01 pm. On arrival crews reported smoke and fire from an occupied single-story residence. Interior operations were initiated using two handlines. Searches of the structure were conducted and came back all clear. The occupant was able to self-evacuate. No injuries have been reported. Red Cross has been ordered for one adult. The fire is under control, and crews are performing salvage and overhaul operations. The cause of the fire will be investigated by KCFD.
