Final Jazz Vespers Concert Features Pianist Charles Williams
The final performance of the 2017/2018 Jazz Vespers concert series at the First Baptist Church of Kansas City, 100 W. Red Bridge Rd., will be Sunday, May 20, at 6 p.m. The Charles Williams Trio will be the featured band. Williams will be performing with Mike Warren and DeAndre Manning.
Charles Williams, a native of Kansas City, KS, has been performing jazz piano for 40 years. He is currently pianist for the Kansas City Jazz Orchestra. He has accompanied Ida McBeth, the McFaddin Brothers and Angela Hagenbach. In addition to jazz, Williams also is a Gospel artist and Minister of Music for several local churches in the metropolitan area.
