The City of Kansas City will host a second resource fair with career opportunities targeted to federal workers whose jobs have been impacted by the new administration’s policies.
The event is May 8 from 3 to 6 pm in the 2400 Lobby of Bartle Hall, 1500 Central Ave.
Attendees can create a hiring profile and connect with city departments, including Aviation, Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity, Communications, Finance, Health, Housing, Human Resources, IT, Kansas City Police Department, Neighborhood Services, Parks and Recreation and Public Works.
The first fair was April 1, 2025, and attacted 68 job seekers.
A statement from the City reads: “These workers bring valuable experience, and Kansas City is committed to connecting them with meaningful roles in public service.”
