Update: The suspect and vehicle are in custody in south Kansas City
This morning at 8:19 am officers responded to Ruskin way and Sycamore Ter on a shooting. Minutes later at 8:27 am officers were dispatched to a second shooting at Longview and Food Ln. Both of these shootings are ongoing investigations and are thought to be non fatal at this time. Investigation indicated a similarly described suspect and vehicle.
A short time later Grandview Police were dispatched to a fatal shooting in their city involving a similarly described vehicle and suspect.
Description of vehicle and suspect:
Green Dodge Dakota extended cab with gray trim, silver wheels, a large white sticker in rear window and a lawnmower in bed of truck. Susp is black male in skull mask.
If you see this vehicle call 911 immediately/do not approach this vehicle.
