Movie Night
The Marvel family movie Quantumania featuring Ant-Man & Wasp will be shown for free at 7 p.m. Friday, November 17, in the gym at the rear of the South Patrol Police Campus, 9701 Marion Park Dr.
Pre-show entertainment with free hot dogs and popcorn will begin at 6 p.m. Families should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
The movie is sponsored by KCPD’s Community Engagement & South Patrol Divisions and the 5th & 6th District city council members.
Crime Meeting
The South Patrol Division will host its monthly community meeting to discuss area crime patterns, quality of life concerns and ways to better provide information to the community at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, in the community room of the front building at the South Patrol Police Campus, 9701 Marion Park Dr.
All businesses, faith-based groups, residents and schools in the South Patrol area are invited to participate for an open dialogue on these topics.
The boundaries of South Patrol are generally from 87th St. & Bannister Rd. on the north to Cass County & the Grandview city limits on the south and from Kansas on the west to the Lee’s Summit city limits on the east.
