Jazz Vespers presents Latin Jazz
The Latin-Cuban Jazz Ensemble, Cubanisms, will perform at Kansas City Jazz Vespers on Sunday, April 8, at 6 pm at the historic First Baptist Church of Kansas City at the corner of Wornall Road and Red Bridge Road.
Created in July 2016 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, and still in its infancy, Cubanisms presents unique and inspired arrangements giving the band a genuine and exhilarating Cuban-Latin feel, with a wide repertoire including many traditional Cuban rhythms, as shown in their debut album “Acento Cubano.” The album was selected as one of the “Top 10 Albums 2017” by Ritno Caribe Promotions.
KC Jazz Vespers features 100 minutes of popular, professional jazz in a concert setting each month. It’s free and open to the public. Adjacent lighted parking.
