A virtual candidate forum for the five candidates running for two -year terms on the Hickman Mills Board of Education in the April 8 election will take place from 6:30 to p.m. Thursday, March 20.
The ZOOM link to the forum onducted by the League of Women voters of Kansas City and co-sponsored by the South Kansas City Alliance is on the League’s website lwvkc.org.
The public may submit questions for the candidates on the League’s website prior to the forum.
The five candidates for the Board who all have been invited to participate are incumbent Beth Boerger, former Board members Tramise Carter and Clifford Ragan III, and Vanessa Claborn and Teresa Murphy.
The forum will be available for viewing afterward via a link on the League’s website or on youtube.com/LWVKC.
