For the past couple of years, a painted portrait of Patrick Mahomes by local artist Doug Bates hung on the walls of Tanners Bar and Grill in Red Bridge Shopping Center. Sometime last summer the artwork disappeared.
“Someone just took it off the wall and walked away with it,” says Donna Bates. “It’s a very important piece to us, a very large painting.”
“We would like to get it back,” she adds.
The Bates are offering a $500 reward for its return. If you have any information on the painting’s whereabouts, email doug@batespaintingcompany.com.
