Persons should go east on 67th St. from Swope Parkway, and people will direct them to the event organized by City Councilwoman Ryana Parks-Shaw in partnership with Giving Hope & Help and a host of community sponsors.
Free gun locks will be provided to families by Grandparents Against Gun Violence.
Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations also will be provided by Truman Medical Centers to anyone 12 and older, but minors will need the permission of a parent or legal guardian accompanying them. The second dose will be scheduled for a location convenient for each person.
