Cyclopedic Ensemble will present a musical rendition of the popular, “groovy” children’s series Pete the Cat at The Arts Asylum on June 13, 14, 15 and June 21, 22.
The show features a multi-generation cast, starring Ethan Yazell as Pete.
The book series by Kimberly and James Dean debuted in 2008 and is full of kindness, color and rhyme. The musical has the same easygoing, upbeat appeal and is suitable for all ages. Lyrics by Sarah Hammond and music by Will Aronson.
“Pete the Cat has great music (think groovy late 60s style) and is funny with a great message,” said Director Eric Yazell. “You cannot help being happy after watching this show!”
Tickets are $14 each. Performances begin with a reading from a book in the Pete series. The June 21 performance will have ASL interpretation. The Arts Asylum is located at 824 E. Meyer Rd. Learn more www.cyclopedicensemble.org/2025
