Mid-Continent Public Library’s Red Bridge Branch (453 E. Red Bridge Rd., Kansas City, Mo.) will officially reopen on Wednesday, June 28 after being closed for over a week.
The library closed for maintenance issues. “It appears as if a mouse has chewed through some wires on the HVAC unit,” says Mid-Continent Public Libraries spokesperson Emily Becker. “They need to get that repaired so they have adequate AC during this heat!”
All current holds and due dates were extended during the closure.
