Scam Awareness
The FBI and Kansas City Police Department are hosting a scam awareness event for elders and their caretakers from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, October 21, at the South Patrol Police Campus, 9701 Marion Park Dr. Registration will open at 5:30.
The free event will describe different types of scams, how to identify them and what to do if you are contacted by a scammer.
Persons should register online at rsvp-kc@fbi.gov.
