Sun Fresh Doubles up Bucks

Those on the food stamps program can get a double dose of good at Sun Fresh in Red Bridge Shopping Center, 11212 Holmes Rd.
For every $10 used to purchase produce from the Red Bridge grocery store, $10 is reimbursed to the customer in the form of food stamps.
Red Bridge Sun Fresh is the only grocery store in the Ball’s Foods grocery chain that is participating in the program. “We have to pay extra for labor to deal with the paperwork, but that’s ok,” says store director Kathy Scott. “It’s a good program and we get reimbursed on it, too.”
