A new Taco Bell restaurant off Bannister and I-435 celebrated its Grand Opening today. The fast food restaurant is on the north side of Bannister Rd. at 5630 E. Bannister Rd. southwest of the Cerner Innovations Campus and north of the Ball’s Price Chopper being constructed on the southwest corner of Bannister & Hillcrest Rds.
The restaurant is part of the Cerner’s phased plans which includes creating retail development for the surrounding community and its employees.
Taco Bell has a covered drive-through for to go orders, a small indoor dining area and an outdoor dining/seating area. Access to the chain is off Hillcrest Rd.
Other commercial projects scheduled to soon get underway in the area include a Arvest Bank at 5420 E. Bannister Rd. and a Hampton Inn at 9484 Marion Ridge Dr., according to a Cerner spokesperson.
The location is giving away coupons for a free taco during its opening (while supply lasts).
