An open house farewell event is scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22. 

June 8th was a sad day for many who attended closing events for two Hickman Mills elementary schools and a Freshman Center.

A consulting group has recommended closure of four schools in the Hickman Mills School District. But is it necessary?
